PETITION THE SENATEStand up for the American worker and American industries. Start by buying “American.” On a statewide level, contact your Representative and/or Congresswoman/man. Let them know the truth about American manufacturing and economics needs to be taken more seriously.
For instance, in the 103rd Congress, legislation was introduced to establish a toll-free number consumers can call for information on products Made in U.S.A. In each Congress, the House of Representatives has passed the legislation, and in March 2001, HR 725, dubbed it the “Made in America Information Act”, and it passed 407-3!
However, the legislation still sits before the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation, and is currently being ignored. Clearly our United States Senate is not listening, and it is now time to improve their hearing!
